High-performance car are what many dreamed of owning since they were young as these cars outclass most of the other types of cars out there. These cars are unmatched in terms of performance, styling, luxury and they usually have a hefty price tag to match. Lucky for us, some of these cars can be found on the used car market now for way less than what it cost brand new. Of course, you have to ignore the kilometers on the odometer and the way it was spec by the previous owner.

1. Ferrari F430
Introduced back in 2004, the Ferrari F430 is a timeless beauty. Powered by a 4.3L V8 engine producing 483hp and 465Nm of torque. The F430 is capable of doing the 0-100km/h sprint in 3.6 seconds and it is capable of doing 315 km/h. Brand new, the F430 cost over a million Ringgit and with the current used price of RM 288,000 – RM 399,999 it is a steal.
2. Lamborghini Gallardo
Lamborghini’s first best-selling model and named after the famous breed of fighting bull, the Lamborghini Gallardo is a 5.0-liter V10 baby bull. It has 513hp and 509Nm of torque and can do the 0-100km/h sprint in 4.1 seconds and will top out at 309 km/h. Brand new, the Lamborghini Gallardo cost around RM 868,000 without tax but now you can buy them at RM 350,000 – RM 449,500.
3. Audi R8 (First Generation)
Audi first and only supercar and also the choice of Iron Man, the Audi R8 is unmistakably a fan favorite with its looks and performance. The first-generation Audi R8 came with two engine choices which are the 4.2-liter V8 which puts out 420hp and 429Nm of torque, 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and tops out at 301km/h or the 5.2-liter V10 that produce 525hp and 530Nm of torque, 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and tops out at 315km/h. Brand new, the Audi R8 costs more than 1 million Ringgit but you can now buy them for RM 177,000 – RM 368,000.
4. Nissan GT-R R35
Hail as the Supercar killer from Japan, the Nissan GT-R R35 is the world cheapest supercar that can whoop most of the fancy more expensive supercar. Tuners around the world praise the GT-R for its capability to reach 600-1000hp without breaking a sweat. Under the hood is a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 that puts out 480hp and 600Nm of torque. 0-100km/h is done in 3.5 seconds and tops out at 312km/h. Brand new, the Nissan GT-R R35 cost around RM 700,000 and you can buy them now at RM 204,000 – RM 338,800
5. BMW M5/M6 (F10/F13)
Yes, this doesn’t look anything like a supercar but take a sit and let us explain. This regular looking saloon & coupe isn’t exactly what it looks like, don’t be fooled by its regular looks as it may bite you back hard! These are the ///M models of a regular 5 & 6 series and the engineers have one goal which is to smoke some supercar in a plush, comfortable everyday car. Under the hood is a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that puts out 560hp and 680Nm of torque. It will do the 0-100km/h sprint in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 305km/h. Brand new these cars have a base price of RM 901,800 but now you can have them for RM 223,000 – RM 398,000
6. Mercedes AMG E63
Want something big with four doors, has to be mind-blowing fast but has a plush interior and you need something that can impress your in-laws? Well, here is a Mercedes that will get you the seal of approval from your in-law but what they didn’t know is that this is the Mercedes AMG E63. Not a regular “uncle” car, this car has a 5.5-liter bi-turbo engine which puts out 518hp and 700Nm of torque. The car will do 0-100km/h in 4.3 seconds and tops out at 250kmh. Brand new they cost roughly RM 800-900K but you can now buy them for RM 308,000.
7. Aston Martin DB9
A proper British automobile the Aston Martin has something special instilled into everyone’s heart and it is the main star of almost every James Bond movie. The Aston Martin DB9 is the only vehicle in this list with a V12 engine it sounds beautiful. It has a 6.0-liter V12 engine that puts out 510bhp and 620Nm of torque. It will do 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds and tops out at 295km/h. Brand new they cost in the million Ringgit range but now you can buy them from RM 248,000 – RM 368,000.
8. Porsche 997 Turbo
Since 1974 the Porsche 911 Turbo is considered as the spearhead of Zuffenhausen’s finest sports cars. The first Porsche 911 Turbo (930) is the infamous Blackbird that stared in the Wangan Midnight franchise that took the world by storm and 30 years later, the Porsche 997 Turbo still carry on its legacy. The engine of the 997 Turbo is the first petrol engine with a variable-geometry turbocharger and it is based on the 911 GT1 design.
