Volvo Car Malaysia’s dealer-partner, Sime Darby Swedish Auto Sdn Bhd that was appointed in October 2019 unveiled its new Volvo 3S (Sales, Service & Spare Parts) Centre today. The new 3S Centre is strategically located as part of Sime Darby Motors City in Ara Damansara. The 4-storey state-of-the-art centre is the next stage in creating a meaningful automobile brand partnership between Sime Darby Swedish Auto and Volvo Car Malaysia.
Inspired by the brand’s Scandinavian ideals and heritage, the 3S Centre was built in adherence to Volvo Car’s retail standard – the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE). This will be the first 3S Centre to be equipped with a VR Studio (Virtual Reality Studio) and an RATC Bay (Reception at The Counter).
This 3S Centre is designed to deliver a contemporary luxury experience, featuring a showroom at the ground floor to display the brand’s premium marques, and service centre, complete with car detailing area, spread across the second and third floors. Wheel alignment and balancing zone is located on the fourth floor.
Besides that, this new Volvo 3S Centre will be the first fully air-conditioned workshop in Malaysia. A highly skilled after-sales team of 18 will manage 14 repair and service bays and 2 will be specifically for RATC Bays. All customer parking bays will also be equipped with an Electric Vehicle Charger.
The appointment of Sime Darby Swedish Auto, a unit under Sime Darby Berhad’s Motors Division with its extensive footprint and vast experience, is expected to build on Volvo’s efforts to deliver the brand & vision to the market and bolster customer confidence as Volvo Car Malaysia grows from strength to strength.
Volvo Ara Damansara is located at Block 6, Sime Darby Motors City,6 Jalan PJU 1A/7, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Operation hours are from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm from Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 6.00 pm on Saturdays and 10.00 am to 6.00 pm on Sunday and public holiday. The Service Centre opens from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm from Monday to Friday and from 8.30 am to 12.45 pm on Saturday. For any enquiries, customers can call 03-7623 3200.
