Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Ferrari’s factory in Maranello and Modena was closed for the longest time in its history but the production will build up gradually to resume fully on Friday, May 8 in line with the government regulations.
Ferrari has spared no effort to prepare for this moment by setting up the “Back on Track” program which reflects the deep commitment to its people first and foremost. The program also includes the introduction of several new practices that aimed at safeguarding the health and wellbeing of all of its employees such as new rules for sharing common areas and reorganizing its areas. Besides that, voluntary serological tests already started happening in the last few weeks.
Ferrari has also decided to carry out a training session for workers to explain the new precautionary and safety measures put in place before starting its production.
