Well, there’s no right or wrong answer here except this: what seems so easy in principle can be a real son of a b itch in practice. I mean just when you’re more or less content and happy with your one tenderly cared for ride, here comes the likes of this sumptuously prepared CLA 45 from ExoticMods parading its showroom centerpiece shine looking all eerie and organic, like it could transform into a fearsome and grouchy Decepticon.
Yeah well it goes without saying that the bad robot aliens are way cooler than the good robot aliens seeing as they’re the ones who always gets the good shit. But still ‘getting the good shit’ doesn’t come any better than this bespoke performance and style program tailor made for this one Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG. Again, it goes on and on without a single syllable spoken that the CLA 45 AMG symbolizes the perfect synergy of all the essences of premium automobile performance: raw power, top flight handling, cutting edge dynamics, sportiness, aggression with unquestionable luxury. The CLA 45 AMG is the benchmark compact premium sports saloon of the moment; the standard bearer by which all other premium sports saloon shall be judged. All this and we won’t even begin to touch on the major go & show tuning works by the funky ExoticMods crew.
Surely considering the CLA AMG’s rep some re-education of its stellar AMG engineered aero-works, state of the art inner-workings, and some standard insights into that thunderous power from the twice in succession (2014 & 2016) International Engine of the Year for the 1.8 – 2 liter category: the M133 1991cc 4 cylinder turbo. The M133 relay its 360hp and 450Nm of torque to all four wheels via the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission, programmed with key software modules adopted from the AMG SLS with its inspirational power transmission concept. The dual clutch transmission of the CLA 45 AMG features seven gears, three driving programs, a double-declutching function and RACE START for optimum acceleration. The strengths of the AMG DCT sports transmission include spontaneous gear shifting without any interruption in tractive power, a tailor-made control strategy.
Complementing the ‘most powerful series production four-cylinder engine in the world’ and the 7-Speed SPEEDSHIFT DCT Sport Transmission is the AMG 4MATIC all-wheel-drive powertrain.
