It has been a whirlwind last couple of months for Lydia Lim as she basks in her tenure as Miss Drive M7 Hypertune 2012/2013 and free time has become quite the precious commodity for her. Fortunately, we managed to get her to grace the cover of this month’s issue alongside a very special car in its own right. Luckily, she also spared some time to tell us a little bit about herself for you to get to know her better.

Lydia grew up in a healthy family environment that has resulted in her always staying positive and keeping happy. Her involvement in the modeling field came courtesy of an interest in dressing up to the nines and being a natural in front of the camera. Before this however, she was cutting her teeth as an executive in a Hong Kong restaurant chain here. During the rare spare time that she gets now, Lydia likes to belt out hits at karaoke lounges and kill time on Facebook. She also likes to go for a full-body massage every once in a while to recharge her body.

Being the reigning Miss Hypertune, surely she would have a nice choice as her dream car and Lydia went with a Mercedes-Benz SLK. Her idea of a perfect weekend begins with tea in the morning and some yoga before a shopping spree and spa session to end the evening. Just before bed, she would love a Japanese buffet dinner and to catch a movie. Given the opportunity, she would sleep at early at 9pm in order to get enough rest.

If she could describe herself in three words, Lydia chose to sum herself up best with cheerful, grateful and playful; words we can definitely agree with. She also wanted to share her motto for life with the readers before she left, which is that life is short and you should always love your dream and share your passion.
